Situated on our 10-acre farm in Kemp, Texas, we specialize in saving unwanted livestock, including horses, donkeys, alpacas, and goats, as well as offering a haven for dogs, ducks, and some lucky chickens. "Philippe's journey is one of resilience and hope. Formerly a hardworking member of an Amish community, he faced an uncertain future when sold to a Mexican buyer destined for slaughter. Thankfully, compassionate neighbors intervened, securing Philippe's release on bond, which we paid to initiate treatment for a severe respiratory infection he was suffering from. Following his rescue, Philippe underwent a 45-day quarantine period to ensure his health and safety. Now, he enjoys a happy and fulfilling life, thanks to the care and support he receives. However, last summer's dry conditions took a toll on Philippe's hooves, causing significant damage and requiring ongoing treatment to correct. Despite these challenges, Philippe's spirit remains unbroken, continuing to inspire all who meet him. Your generous support will directly contribute to Philippe's ongoing care, ensuring he receives the treatment he needs to heal and thrive."

Currently tipping the scales at a staggering 2,400 to 2,500 pounds, Philippe's size is matched only by his heart. Thanks to Becky's innovative  PFMR  (pulsed electromagnetic field therapy) treatments, Philippe is now able to fully process his food, and his weight is steadily increasing. However, caring for a creature of Philippe's magnitude is no small feat, and we need your support to ensure his continued well-being.
